The Professional Curved Back is a tremendously widespread paramorphism nowadays. Its etiology is due to the "hypokinetic syndrome" and to the "absence of compensatory movement of particular attitudes in various professional activities. This defect is of rather considerable social interest, because it reflects unfavorably and causes damage to the person concerned not only in physical terms.
Once the damage is established, we will note in the subject:
- a sagging attitude, which makes us foresee unpleasant future consequences linked to posture;
- the somewhat limited respiratory functions will cause significant damage in the mature age;
- numerous and annoying pains, causing substantial economic damage, which will almost certainly lead in old age to a state of physical disability.
Precisely for this reason it is good for young people to enter a "mindset" available to the implementation of a rational type of motor program.
The compensatory action, when required, serves above all to implement a motor protocol that has the purpose of avoiding a further worsening of the damage manifested.
The technique involves:
- mobilization, carried out on the three planes of space (longitudinal, sagittal and transverse), conducted in such a way that no movement can cause pain;
- trophism, to be implemented with the aim of toning the paravertebral muscles;
- moderate sports activity, which favors functional movements, not boring and in the open air (if possible).
