Glomerular Filtration Rate - eGFR

(eGFR) is an indicator of the health of the kidneys.
This parameter is calculated to establish the presence of kidney damage early or to monitor those who are already suffering from chronic kidney disease over time.

The eGFR can be determined at the same time as the blood sample is taken for the creatinine measurement.
