According to the most classic of anatomical subdivisions (which takes into account the localization), the internal organs can be distinguished into: cranial organs (they are the internal organs housed in the skull), neck organs (they are the internal organs located along the neck), organs of the thorax (they are the internal organs with thoracic seat), organs of the abdomen (they are the internal organs with the abdominal seat) and pelvic organs (they are the internal organs located in the pelvis).
The internal organs of the human body include anatomical elements fundamental to life; these vital internal organs are: the brain, heart, lungs, liver and kidneys.
