So when should the mask be worn? "in indoor places other than private homes" as well as "in all open-air places except in cases where, due to the characteristics of the place or the factual circumstances, the condition of isolation from non-cohabiting people is continuously guaranteed", thus cites an excerpt from the Law Decree which speaks of the "extension of the use of masks".
Some clarifications have been provided and it has been specified that in isolated places and in the presence of only cohabitants, the mask is not necessary.
There are also cases in which you are just exempted from "wearing the mask:
- Children under 6 years old
- People with pathologies or disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask
- Those who practice sports
If necessary, the regions can tighten these regulations further, but not loosen them if there is no authorization from the Minister of Health.
