Generality
Micropenis is a penis that is much smaller than normal standards.
To determine its appearance is generally a lack of testosterone in the first years of life until adolescence. However, there are also idiopathic cases - that is, without any explainable causes - and others due to environmental factors.
Thanks to certain diagnostic tests, doctors can trace the causes of the micropenis and plan ways and times of therapy.
Usually, hormonal treatments are of fundamental importance at a young age, as in many cases they can increase the size of the penis.
For adults, there is the possibility of surgery, with an "operation called elongation phalloplasty.
