Preparation
Did you know that
Cordon bleu are chicken steaks stuffed with ham and cheese, then passed in egg and breadcrumbs, then fried in oil.
For a very light reinterpretation of this recipe, we will not use eggs and we will prefer baking. To put these precautions into practice, however, it is essential to grind the meat.- Cut the chicken meat into pieces, remove the nerves and the fat. Combine the chicken in the blender, add salt, pepper and a teaspoon of spice mix for roasts. Blend everything until you get a cream.
- Using a round pastry cutter with a diameter of 8 cm, make 3 discs of ham and 3 discs of spun curd cheese.
- Divide the raw meat puree into 3 parts.
- Arrange part of the dough on one hand, taking care to open the meat. Stuff in the center with a disc of ham and one of cheese. Close the meat into a meatball, trying to trap the filling inside.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- With your hands, crumble the corn flackes to obtain a mixture of crumbs. Roll each meatball on the corn flackes, so as to cover them entirely.
- Arrange the three cordon bleu on the baking sheet and, without adding oil or other seasonings, bake at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes. Halfway through cooking, we recommend turning the blue cordon.
- Serve immediately.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
Of course these cordon bleu look exactly like the ones you bought! Instead they are prepared entirely with our hands, using natural and quality ingredients. And I'll tell you more .. grinding the meat (instead of using whole chicken slices) is much, much easier to make this delicacy!
For those with a sweet tooth, I recommend the traditional cordon bleu recipe.
I recommend you try the homemade light spinach: a real treat for young and old!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
