Preparation

- Collect the pieces of apple in the glass of a blender. Combine the raspberries, the guar gum, the chia seeds, the oat flakes and the yogurt: start blending by adding as much water as needed, until you get the desired consistency.
The choice of ingredients
To prepare this smoothie we have selected highly satiating ingredients:
- Chia seeds are rich in mucilage and, in contact with liquids, they form a gelatinous mass that can also be used to make the smoothie thicker. Alternatively, use pureed flaxseed.
- The apple (better the Granny Smith) is a fruit with low sugar and a lot of fiber.
- Guar gum is a source of fiber and helps achieve the "full stomach" effect.
- Oat flakes are high in protein and slow digesting carbohydrates. In other words, oats provide long-term energy without causing blood sugar spikes.
- Yogurt: falls on the list of satiating foods.
To increase the protein dose in the smoothie, 30 g of protein powder can be added.
- Once the desired consistency is obtained, pour the smoothie into the glass and enjoy immediately
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
The strict diet and unnecessary food deprivation can only increase hunger and make us obsess over the thought of food. We learn to eat healthily, balanced and to choose the most filling foods in order to keep hunger at bay.
Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
The Antifame Smoothie is a food that belongs to the group of sweet drinks.
It is a not too caloric food, whose energy is mainly supplied by carbohydrates, followed by lipids and finally by proteins.
Carbohydrates are mainly simple, polyunsaturated fatty acids and peptides of medium biological value. Fiber is abundant while cholesterol is negligible.
It does not contain histamine-rich ingredients or histaminoliberators. It provides small concentrations of gluten (from oats) and lactose (from yogurt).
In the right portions and with the most appropriate frequency of consumption, the Antifame Smoothie is a product that can also be included in the usual diet. It has no major contraindications in nutritional regimes against overweight and metabolic pathologies; its use must be adapted to any special conditions, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertriglyceridemia.
It may need to be avoided in case of celiac disease (the gluten content in oats is still controversial) and lactose intolerance (the reaction is dose dependent and subjective).
The abundance of fiber could greatly increase bowel movement.
It is a recipe that respects the lacto-ovo vegetarian criteria but not the vegan ones.
The average serving of Antifame Smoothie is 150 g (about 100 kcal).
