Some alternative ideas
For a more rustic flavor, use a mix of white flour and wholemeal flour.
To enrich the cherry tomatoes, you can add slices of olives or, for a non-vegetarian version, anchovy fillets or cheese.- In a small bowl, emulsify the oil with the water, then pour the mixture over the dough.
- Finish with grains of coarse salt and oregano.
- Place in the oven immediately and bake at 180 ° C for about 40 minutes.
- Remove the water cake from the oven, allow to cool, cut into cubes and serve.
- The focaccia can be kept in the fridge for a couple of days, tightly closed in a plastic bag.
- For longer storage, freeze the focaccia and consume within a couple of months.
