Ingrediants
- 60 g (1 medium) of eggs
- q.s. of water
Materials Needed
- Dishwasher (charge)
- Airtight glass jar
Preparation
Please note
Cooking in the dishwasher for energy saving purposes only makes sense if the food is cooked at full load! Clearly, you don't ask to turn on the dishwasher to cook an egg!- Load the dishwasher with dishes and pans to wash.
- Gently insert an egg (with shell) into a glass jar full of water. Close very well with the screw cap: the water must neither enter nor exit the jar.
- Place the jar with the egg in the dishwasher, along with the other dishes.
- Operate the appliance and wait for the end of the washing cycle.
Attention!
The consistency of the egg varies according to the chosen washing program. For example, if you choose an "Eco" wash, in which the water temperature fluctuates between 50 and 55 ° C, you will get a very creamy egg inside. A "normal" wash (temperature of 60-65 ° C) will make it possible to obtain a perfect soft-boiled egg, while with intensive washing (water temperature equal to 70-75 ° C) the egg will be firm and very compact .- Remove the jar with the egg and let it cool.
- Remove the cap: the egg is ready to be tasted.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
I proposed cooking an egg in the dishwasher, but you can clearly use the electricity of this powerful appliance to prepare other dishes: chicken nuggets with tomato, prawns with lemon and even fruit!
Did you like the recipe? So I can also suggest the Tuna Vasocottura! For a particular recipe, but still more traditionally, try the baked cloud egg.
Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
Soft-boiled eggs cooked in the dishwasher are no different from those cooked in the traditional way; in summary, the relative chemical content is entirely comparable to that of raw egg.
Given the high cholesterol content, it is advisable to consume a maximum of 3 eggs per week and no more than 100g at a time; moreover, it is advisable to further reduce the portion for the subject suffering from hypercholesterolemia.
