Generality
Indomethacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the family of acetic acid derivatives.
In addition to its anti-inflammatory activity, indomethacin has a marked antipyretic activity (it is more powerful than both aspirin and paracetamol) and an equally marked analgesic activity.
