Introduction
In this article we analyze a well-known and traditional herbal tea for colds, a viral and passing disease that still does not know a real cure, as it tends to be self-limiting. However, it is possible to resort to the use of natural remedies such as herbal teas to alleviate some symptoms.
There are numerous natural remedies aimed at preventing colds, but also at its treatment. Suffice it to think that the acetylsalicylic acid contained in aspirin is very similar, both in structure and effect, to the salicylates of white willow and meadowsweet spirea (from which the name aspirin derives not by chance). It should be noted, however, that this does not mean that these natural remedies have the same effectiveness as a real drug.
