In the past, the stems of dulcamara were used as a purifying remedy, in particular for dermatological diseases. In fact, this plant contains substances with anti-inflammatory and anticholinergic activity, present in particular in the berries.
Today, the dulcamara is mostly used as an external remedy to be used in the treatment of skin diseases of various origins.
