Diphenhydramine against Skin Disorders and Colds

In the form of a cream for skin use, in fact, diphenhydramine is used to counteract symptoms deriving from insect bites, irritation and excessive sun exposure; while in the form of tablets for oral use it is used - in association with other active ingredients - in the treatment of cold symptoms.

Medicines that contain the active ingredient are free for sale (OTC over-the-counter drugs) and their cost is fully borne by the citizen. Inside them, usually, diphenhydramine is contained in hydrochloride form (diphenhydramine hydrochloride).
