What is that
Bryonia is a genus of plants belonging to the Cucurbitaceae family and which includes several species within it.
Within the genus Bryonia, the best known species are probably the Bryonia alba (or white bryony) and the Bryonia cretica (or red bryony).
Both plants are toxic and, for this reason, they do not find uses in the phytotherapeutic field. Nevertheless, according to the principle of "like cures like", they are exploited in the field of homeopathy.
