The Neapolitan pizza (known abroad as Italian pizza or Neapolitan pizza) is perhaps the most famous Italian food in the world.
Mother of all pizzas, the "true Neapolitan" can be "marinara" or "margherita", therefore composed of a base of leavened dough enriched with tomato, mozzarella (in the margherita) or garlic (in the marinara), extra virgin olive oil and aromatic herbs (basil in the margherita and oregano in the marinara).
