We are in the midst of the age of modern cakes: the classic grandma's cakes, cooked for a long time in the wood oven, give way to those cooked in a short time in the microwave! Then, with the heat knocking on the doors, these innovative cakes give the best of them, both in practicality and in the cooking method. An example? With the yogurt cake that I propose today, it takes us 2 minutes to prepare the dough and 4 minutes to cook!

Some alternatives
In this recipe we do not suggest the use of sugar because the sweet part is provided by sour cherries in syrup.
As an alternative to sour cherries in syrup, 50 g of sugar can be used.
The dessert can be enriched with pieces of fruit, such as: peaches, apricots, melon, strawberries, cherries, etc.
White yogurt can be replaced with fruit yogurt.- Brush a donut-shaped silicone mold with a diameter of 20 cm with a little corn oil: in this way, it will be easier to unmold the cake after cooking.
- Cook the cake in the microwave at 800W for 4 minutes.
Did you know that
The minutes and the power of the oven can change according to the characteristics of the instrument and the container used: sometimes, for perfect cooking, the cake takes 5 minutes, another 3.5 minutes.
The cake can also be baked in the oven: we recommend at 160 ° C (ventilated) for 20 minutes.- Remove the cake from the microwave. Turn the yogurt cake upside down by placing a saucer on it.
- Allow to cool and serve as desired, sprinkling with icing sugar.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
