The flavors of autumn must be put (also) in the oven! So today we will prepare a cake with chestnuts, fruits that dominate the woods, and with apples, instead the protagonists of the countryside in this passing season. The beauty of this cake is that we can also prepare it without a scale: a small jar will suffice as a reference measure. Let's prepare this cake together, which I have baptized "cake of 6 and a half jars"!

Preparation
Did you know that
As an alternative to the food scale, to calculate the doses of the ingredients, in this recipe we used a jar as a measuring method.
So, to prepare this dessert we need: 3 jars of chestnut flour, 1 jar of raisins, 1 jar low in sugar, half a jar of seed oil, 1 pinch of salt, 1 sachet of yeast (16 g), 1 jar of white yogurt, 3 eggs, 2 apples.- Soak the raisins in warm water to make them soft.
- Meanwhile, sift the chestnut flour and mix it with the sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Combine the oil, yogurt, eggs and mix the ingredients until you get a batter.
- Preheat the oven to 160 ° C (ventilated).
- Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices.
- Combine the slices of apple to the batter, add the raisins squeezed by the soaking water and, as a last ingredient, the sifted yeast.
- Line a baking tray with a diameter of 26 cm with parchment paper.
- Gather the mixture in the bowl and level with a spatula.
- Bake in the oven at 160 ° C for 50 minutes or until the inside is dry. To understand when to remove the cake, we recommend the toothpick test.
- Let the cake cool before cutting it. Serve to taste with powdered sugar.
