Preparation
The laxative cake is a kind of cheese-cake, made with specific ingredients, aimed at regularizing intestinal function.
- First, prepare the laxative cake base. In a blender, first reduce the biscuits to flour, then the wheat bran sticks.
- Pour the obtained powders into a bowl, then add the flax seeds.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and add it to the powders.
- Mix everything well, possibly with the help of your hands (it is advisable to wear latex gloves).
- Meanwhile, line a 26 cm diameter springform pan with parchment paper. Then pour the mixture of biscuits, bran, flax seeds and butter, and compact perfectly with your hands by pressing on the bottom of the pan.
- At this point, proceed with the preparation of the cream. Soak the gelatine in a small bowl filled with cold water.
- In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, ricotta, cream cheese, and sugar. Mix well until you get a homogeneous cream without lumps.
- Meanwhile, cut the dried fruit (apricots and plums) into small pieces.
- Then heat the milk in a small pan: when the gelatin is perfectly softened, squeeze it and dissolve it in the milk. Pour it into the cream and mix well.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the base, trying to distribute it perfectly.
- At this point, complete with the plum jam: spread the jam on top of the cream and level it well with a spoon.
Please note
It will be easier to distribute the jam evenly if you first let the cake cool in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.- Serve very cold.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
After a few hours of rest in the cool, the laxative cake is ready to fulfill its role as a good adjuvant in intestinal regularization. But be careful with the doses: one slice a day, better if eaten in the morning, is enough for an optimal balance. The laxative cake is a sweet useful for restoring intestinal transit in case of constipation. The quantity of dietary fiber contained in 2 slices of laxative cake corresponds to about 1/4 or 1/5 of the daily requirement, therefore, appropriately contextualized, it could facilitate the significant remission of related symptoms. Be careful though! The laxative cake, despite being rich in fiber, is not a suitable food for weight reduction, as it brings considerable amounts of fat deriving from cheeses which greatly increase the total calories of the food.
