- 100 g of fresh ricotta
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Preparation

- Cut the figs horizontally, 2 cm from the stalk and set aside for decoration.
- Insert the dig into the pulp of the fig, taking care not to break the fruit.
Who does not own the digger
As an alternative to digging, you can use a coffee spoon. To remove the pulp, it is therefore advisable to cut the inside with the tip of a knife, and to remove the pulp by digging gently with a spoon.- Place the pulp in a bowl and reduce it into a cream if necessary with the help of the prongs of a fork.
- Mix the fig cream with the fresh ricotta and flavor with a pinch of ground cinnamon.
- Pour the fig and ricotta cream into a pastry bag and stuff the figs halfway through. As an alternative to the pastry bag, use a teaspoon. Insert an almond in the heart of the cream and fill with the remaining ricotta.
- Close the figs with the stalk, previously removed.
- Serve the figs garnishing with caramel sauce or cocoa powder.

Ricotta figs are perfect to serve as a quick, yet tasty dessert! Those who wish can replace the ricotta with spreadable cheese or with simple robiola: in this case, serve them as an alternative appetizer!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
