Preparation
Before starting
To get the Halloween "cemetery", we will prepare a green base with vegetables (garden), on which we will then insert the "graves" (made with crackers). We will enclose the cemetery with a "gate" based on pretzels and insert some mozzarella "ghosts". To make the cemetery even more gloomy, we will build celery and broccoli "trees", and a "road" with hemp seeds.- In a blender, combine the boiled chickpeas and the steamed broccoli, season with salt and pepper, then mix by adding two tablespoons of oil to obtain a velvety cream. Gather the green cream in a rectangular pan - possibly lined with baking paper - and level to obtain a homogeneous surface.
Did you know that
To prepare this recipe we suggest using boiled chickpeas. However, it is possible to prefer other legumes, such as peas, beans, cicerchie, broad beans, etc.- Create a small road with unhulled hemp seeds.
- Decorate the crackers with some writing to imitate the tombstones, using a special food marker. For example, you can make some crosses or write "RIP".
- Embed the "tombs" in the garden.
- Decorate the mozzarella with a marker or with pieces of black olives to get the appearance of little ghosts.
- Insert a few stalks of raw celery and some inflorescences of raw broccoli into the puree, to obtain the effect similar to trees.
- Finish by enclosing the cemetery with pretzels in the shape of a pretzel.
- Serve the Halloween graveyard.
