There are penalties for false self-certifications

The Department for Sport will be able to carry out checks for the purpose of verifying the requirements and the veracity of the self-declarations made by the subjects requesting the lost funds, pursuant to article 71 of Presidential Decree 445/2000.

As required by "art. 76 paragraph 1 of Presidential Decree 445/2000" Anyone who issues false declarations, forms false documents or uses them in the cases provided for in this consolidated act is punished pursuant to the criminal code and special laws on the subject "and subsequent paragraph 2 in which it states that "The" exhibition of a document containing data that no longer corresponds to the truth is equivalent to the use of a false document ".

It is expressly established that, in the event of discrepancies and / or any false declarations in the documentation presented by the ASD / SSD, the Department for Sport may exclude the same from the benefit and may also dispose of any exclusion from further contributions that could subsequently be provided by the Department for Sport.
