Cerebral cavernoma is a benign tumor located in the brain or spinal cord, made up of an agglomeration of blood vessels and resembling a raspberry.
Often with unknown causes, cerebral cavernomas can be completely asymptomatic (in most cases) or cause various symptoms, such as: epilepsy, cerebral hemorrhage, neurological deficits of various kinds or headaches.

For a correct diagnosis, an MRI is usually used.Therapy depends on the presence or absence of symptoms and the severity of the latter.
