Condurango in Herbalist: Property of Condurango
Due to its amarotonic, aperitif and gastric analgesic properties, condurango is indicated against gastric pain, in dyspepsia and anorexias of nervous origin, as well as as an elective remedy for nausea in pregnancy; however, since there are no reliable data on its safety, this "use" should be discouraged; in fact, at high doses, the condurango proved neurotoxic (convulsions, paralysis, dizziness, blurred vision).
Contraindications
Avoid taking in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components. At high doses, condurango can cause central nervous system disturbances, nausea and vomiting.
