If I tell you we're going to bake some cannabis cookies today, are you staring at it? Don't worry, we will use a completely harmless flour, 100% safe! Cannabis sativa is not cannabis indica (a type of Indian hemp that cannot be grown in Italy, known for its amazing properties). In the sativa species, there are no psychotropic or psychoactive nervine molecules (called phytocannabinoids). We can therefore make preparations with hemp seed flour with absolute safety: and today I would like to prepare very special biscuits, which are completely vegetable.

Ingrediants
Ingredients for about 30 biscuits
- 50 g of hemp seed flour
- Half a teaspoon of baking powder
- If needed: 3 tablespoons of soy milk
- 40 ml of water
- 20 g of flax seeds
- 30 g of dehydrated blueberries
- 50 ml of corn oil
- Untreated lemon zest
- Whole food, organic: 80 g of cane sugar
- Whole food, organic: 150 g of spelled flour
- 1 pinch of salt

Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the hemp seed flour and the wholemeal spelled flour.
- Remove the zest from an organic lemon with a knife. In a blender, combine the brown sugar and the lemon zest: blend everything finely and add the mince to the flour.
- Blend the dehydrated blueberries and mix them with the other dry ingredients.
- Blend the flax seeds, add the water slowly and wait a few moments: a dense and gelatinous mass will form.
Curiosity: what are flax seeds used for?
Flax seeds, very rich in mucilage, in contact with water form a dense and gelatinous paste: in this case, flax seeds mainly serve as a substitute for eggs.- Combine 60 g of flax dough with the flour. Then add the oil, salt, sifted yeast and, if necessary, a few tablespoons of soy milk: mix everything with your hands until you get a dough with a consistency similar to vegan shortcrust pastry.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 4-5 mm and obtain biscuits with the shape of your choice.
- Place the biscuits in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 180 ° C for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool and serve: they are excellent for dipping in almond milk or tea.
- Hemp seed flour cookies can be stored in tin containers for 3-4 weeks.
