THERAPEUTIC GROUP: Vitamin complexes B
Indications BECOZYM ® - Vitamins of group B
BECOZYM® is indicated in the prevention of deficiency states of B vitamins due to bad intestinal absorption rather than increased need.
BECOZYM ® is also included as an adjuvant in the therapy of liver disease, neuritis, glossitis, anorexia and growth retardation
Mechanism of action BECOZYM ® - Vitamins of group B
BECOZYM ® is a drug based on B vitamins, water-soluble vitamins normally present in sufficient quantities in the Mediterranean diet to satisfy even the most demanding needs.
The importance of these elements in maintaining the health of the organism is due to their biological role, useful in:
- To guarantee the advancement of numerous biochemical reactions, necessary for the production of energy;
- Support the biosynthesis processes of macromolecules fundamental to life, such as nucleic acids, proteins and fatty acids;
- Contribute to the cellular antioxidant potential, protecting the body from the insults of oxidative stress;
- Maintain the trophicity and health of the cells of the nervous system.
The numerous biochemical reactions, in which the B vitamins are involved, justify the vast symptomatic concert that is observed in the course of deficiencies of these elements, thus requiring an appropriate integration in order to reduce symptoms and preserve the state of health.

Warnings BECOZYM ® - Vitamins of group B
Although the vitamin dosages contained in BECOZYM ® are safe, it would be advisable to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
The presence of riboflavin could cause a significant change in the color of the urine, while the presence of alcohol in the syrup formulation could contribute to the positivity of doping tests.
PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
BECOZYM ® could be administered during pregnancy and in the subsequent period of breastfeeding, in order to compensate for the increased need encountered in these periods.
However, it would be advisable to carry out the aforementioned treatment under the supervision of your gynecologist, in order to avoid unpleasant side effects.
Interactions
Although the intake of vitamins of group B, at the doses provided for BECOZYM ®, is generally devoid of potential risks related to the concomitant intake of other active ingredients, it should be remembered that vitamin B6 could antagonize the biological effect of Levodopa, thus reducing the therapeutic action envisaged for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
In addition, the intake of B vitamins could lead to significant variations in blood chemistry tests.
Contraindications BECOZYM ® - Vitamins of group B
BECOZYM ® is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic and renal insufficiency, and in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to one of its excipients.
Undesirable Effects - Side Effects
